Authorities in Riverside have said that a police K-9 named Finn is credited with helping apprehend a suspect who had multiple outstanding warrants. Finn, who is four years old, seemed quite pleased with his efforts.
The incident took place in early May, according to a report by Pe.com, when the Riverside Police Department was tipped off as to the location of a possible “habitual car thief.” They also learned this same suspect had a number of outstanding felony warrants.
Police went to the home where they believed the suspect was hiding, and while they didn’t immediately spot him, Finn let them know the man was hiding out in the attic. As soon as the unnamed man realized there was a police dog on scene, he gave himself up.
The man has since been booked at the Riverside County Jail. His bail bonds information remains unclear.
