Banning Police Department
125 E. Ramsey
Banning, CA 92220
The Banning Police Department serves to protect the residents of the city around the clock. If someone is arrested by the Banning Police Department, they will be taken to the Banning Police Station for processing.
This process includes fingerprinting, photographs for mug shots, a background check and warrant search of the defendant. They will then be transported to the Banning Jail, also called the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility.
Once they have been completely booked into the system, the defendant will be set a bail amount. Bail is determined by the Riverside County bail schedule. Once the bail is set, we can post the bond for their release 24-hours a day.

It can take several hours for a defendant to be booked into the system and released once their bond has been posted. That’s because jail staff has to ensure safety at all times inside the jail.
Once released, it is the defendant’s responsibility to appear for all court dates pertaining to their case. If a hearing is missed, there is a possibility that the bond will be revoked and the defendant will be re-arrested.
Cost of a Bail Bond
A bail bond will cost 10% of the defendant’s bail. For instance, if his bail is $30,000 then you will pay a bondsman $3,000 to bail him out.
We understand that a bail bond is not an expense you expect to pay. That is why we offer many payment options to help ease the financial strain this can place on you. We accept all major credit cards and many clients are pleased to learn they qualify for no-collateral bail bonds or zero-cost financing.
